Trina Murphy, ALFA, LPN, DCP
Chief Operations Officer
Trina Harmon brings more than two decades of distinguished leadership to senior living, shaped by a lifelong devotion to caregiving and a standard of excellence that reflects the expectations of families guided by legacy, refinement, and generational stewardship.
Raised in a home where extended family often lived together, Trina learned early that caring for others was not an obligation but a privilege. That foundation, paired with her experience in insurance and investment, gave her a rare blend of emotional intelligence, operational clarity, and executive‑level discipline.
Her path returned to its true course when her father was diagnosed with Non‑Hodgkin’s Lymphoma following his exposure to Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam. The quiet excellence of the nurses who cared for him—professionals who consistently went beyond what was required, not for recognition but out of genuine compassion—inspired Trina to pursue her nursing license and step fully into the work she had always been meant to do.
Over the past 23 years in healthcare, including 19 years in nurse management, Trina has become known for her clinical leadership, discerning judgment, and unwavering commitment to quality. In 2017, she expanded her expertise by earning her Assisted Living Facilities Administrator’s License, further elevating her ability to lead with precision and purpose.
Today, Trina’s leadership is defined by discretion, steadiness, and a deep respect for the families she serves. Her work embodies the quiet luxury and intentionality found in Charlottesville’s most refined environments—care that is personal, polished, and uncompromising.

Dameon Harris, Rhonda Banks
Founders/Owners
Dameon Harris brings years of dedicated experience in longterm care, shaped by a
deep commitment to service and a belief that exceptional care begins with genuine
human connection. Dameon has spent his career supporting individuals and families with steadiness, compassion, and an unwavering sense of responsibility.
In 2020, at the height of a global pandemic, Dameon and his wife, Rhonda
Banks, founded Peaceful Minds at Home Services. What began as a response to an
urgent community need quickly evolved into a vision: to offer an elevated, highly
personalized level of care that extended far beyond the limitations of traditional group
settings. Together, they recognized that many families were seeking something
more—care that felt intentional, intimate, and grounded in trust.
Through the challenges of the pandemic and their own personal health journeys,
Dameon and Rhonda persevered, growing their business with integrity and
strengthening their ties within the community. Their shared goal has remained constant:
to create a service model that feels catered, boutique, and deeply personal, ensuring
that growth never outpaces their ability to remain directly connected to the clients who
entrust them with their care.
For Dameon, this work is more than a profession—it is a calling rooted in family, legacy,
and the desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. His leadership
reflects a rare blend of resilience, humility, and heart, and his presence continues to
shape Peaceful Minds at Home Services into a place where care is elevated,
relationships matter, and every client is known personally.
